A Week Into A New Decade

The New Millennium seemed to come and go. I was a whopping eight years old (going on nine) when the year 2000 came around. I remember running outside with Jordyn (then spelt Jordan) Gregory and her family, banging pots and pans yelling, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" The news had stories about mass suicides. My third grade teacher, Mrs. Ellison, taught us the importance of this new millennium. I just thought it was cool because everyone else did.

So much has happened in the 00's..

Multiple trips to Disneyland, one including staying in the Grand California Hotel over Christmas!

I'm getting too big to get on my dad's shoulders in front of Toon Town, but we continue to take this picture every time we go.

I got my ears pierced.

9/11 happened.

I made the junior high volleyball and basketball team.

Ran for school office 3 times, and didn't make even final cuts any of those times.

Started high school...which brought an entirely new chapter to my life.
volleyball, boyfriends, style, hard classes, teachers from hell, driving, deca, the mandarin.

So much happened this decade (which you would hope is the case, since it IS ten years of your life).

2009 was good year, as every years seems to turn out.

I had my first legal drink in Mexico with my dad:

I went on my first cruise:

I went with my mom and Abbey to Australia/New Zealand:

I turned 18:

Made it to DECA Nationals in Anaheim:

Moved away from home/went to first football game:

Found my real friends:

Finally went tubing at Gorgoza Park:

Started college at USU:

Dyed my hair for the first time, purple baby!:

It was a good year. I learned a lot, and made a lot of new life changes. And, I realized what is important to me. :)

May peace and love be with you all,

Chloe
